Adeyemi originally joined the Council team in 2008 as a Governance Intern and now serves as a Nonprofit Services Associate, working with nonprofit organizations participating in the Accountability Wizard® review process. Originally from Nigeria and following in his father’s footsteps, Adeyemi is passionate about supporting local, national, and international nonprofit operations. You can often find Adeyemi supporting local causes through volunteer and board/committee work. Adeyemi graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Computer Science and Sociology: Law, Criminology, and Deviance. He also has a Master’s Degree from Northwestern in Organizational Leadership and is currently pursuing a Ph.D.


Dr. Brita Midness

Nonprofit Services Associate

Brita Midness originally joined Charities Review Council in 2013 and now serves as a Nonprofit Services Associate, working with nonprofit organizations participating in the Accountability Wizard® review process. She holds a BA from Colby College (USA), a M.Litt in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of St Andrews (Scotland), and a PhD in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. Brita enjoys being a member of the vibrant Twin Cities nonprofit community in a number of additional capacities, including managing development for a locally based INGO, working as a consultant, and serving as an active volunteer.


FatemaFatema Kermalli Walji

Fatema originally joined Charities Review Council in 2011 as a Nonprofit Services Intern and now serves as a Nonprofit Services Associate, working with nonprofit organizations participating in the Accountability Wizard® nonprofit review process. She holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Rollins College (USA), and a Masters in Islamic Studies from Middlesex University (England). Fatema loves working in the nonprofit sector, which she joined as secretary for a local community nonprofit while still in high school. Her favorite pastimes include reading, watching YouTube videos, and spending time with family.


KENNON WALES

Kennon originally joined Charities Review Council in 2019 as a Nonprofit Services Intern and now serves as a Nonprofit Services Associate, providing assistance and support to nonprofits as they complete the Accountability Wizard® nonprofit review process.

Kennon recently graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Technical Writing and Communication. She is attending the University of Michigan Law School beginning in Fall 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys drinking excessive amounts of coffee and attempting to solve crossword puzzles.


Grace Krautkremer

Nonprofit Services Associate

Grace is a student completing her final semester at the College of Saint Benedict this fall with a major in Communication and a minor in Global Business. She is an active member of the College of Saint Benedict Dance Team, Bennies in Business, Community Kitchen, and Praise in the Pub’s worship band. Before interning at Charities Review Council, Grace worked for the College of Saint Benedict’s Fine Arts Programming as a marketing assistant. After graduation, she hopes to take the experience learned at Charites Review Council to pursue a career in human resources, marketing, or sales.


Andrea Cole

Graphic Design Consultant – AmplifyDMC

As the resident graphic designer at AmplifyDMC — a development, communications, and marketing consulting company based in St. Paul — Andrea brings beauty and life to her nonprofit client’s work. She lends an artistic eye to print and digital design projects, including annual reports, brochures, banners, newsletters, social media, and websites. She also takes a lead role in branding projects, ensuring visual elements of a brand are representing the organization, product, or service with personality and style.


Jana Nelson

Fundraising Consultant – AmplifyDMC

Calm, cool, collected, creative, confident, and competent: with attributes like these, it’s no wonder that clients love Jana’s work. Whether a client needs grantwriting, engaging social media campaigns, powerful newsletter content, or all of the above, Jana brings years of experience and an understated depth of knowledge to each client project. Her thoughtful approach delivers consistent results leading to great outcomes and happy clients. Jana’s expertise along with her clear writing and ability to communicate the complex challenges that clients are working to address make for a stress-free client experience. Jana previously held positions at Coffee House Press, Graywolf Press, House of Hope Church, and Milkweed Editions.


Benj Vardigan

Fundraising Consultant – AmplifyDMC

Benj brings a range of writing experience to his role at AmplifyDMC. A former managing editor at Consumer Health Interactive in San Francisco, Benj has written investigative pieces on health topics from hypochondria to the hazards of ephedra supplements. He later moved to the nonprofit world, becoming communications director at the Oakland Public Education Fund, where he wrote stories and grants that celebrated and supported Oakland public schools. When not writing for AmplifyDMC and its clients, Benj is either in Minneapolis with his wife and their dog, or writing poems by the river at the cabin his grandfather built in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

Accounting Consultant – All In One Accounting

Crystal has the ability to light up a room with her enthusiasm for accounting. She brings focus, patience, and the talent of helping people understand their financials. An Accounting Associate with All In One Accounting, Crystal graduated with high honors and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems, from Metropolitan State University. Prior to joining All In One Accounting Crystal stayed home to raise her two daughters while completing her degrees. Crystal also served with Minnesota Reading Corps as a K – 3 Literacy Tutor in Minneapolis Public Schools. She was able to provide a lasting impact on the students she worked with by preparing them to be successful readers for the rest of their lives. Crystal lives in South Minneapolis and enjoys volunteering, baking, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and two dogs.

Sadie brings nearly 10 years of accounting experience to All In One Accounting as a controller. Sadie has worked in multiple industries and prides herself on her ability to quickly gain knowledge and put in processes that help the business or organization. Sadie has a true passion for nonprofits and enjoys leading the accounting effort with the mission in mind. She has a sharp attention to detail and can easily pick up on trends in the financials to help executives make key decisions for their organization. Sadie completed her Bachelors in Accounting from Minnesota State University – Mankato. In her free time, Sadie enjoys being outside with her husband and daughter, camping, boating, and fishing.

In addition to her Series 6, 26, 63, and 65 registrations, Rebecca holds her Life and Health Insurance license, is Long Term Care Insurance certified, and recently earned her Certified Retirement Education Specialist (CRES) certification. Her specializations include comprehensive financial planning and the coordination of benefits for employees.
